Job summary
The Athlete’s Foot is seeking an experienced Area Manager for Adelaide, overseeing a portfolio of high-volume stores across the region. You will work with the State Manager to drive store performance, people development, and operations initiatives, including local activations and partnerships with health professionals.
You will lead Store Managers, manage wage costs, and ensure OH&S compliance, with a focus on growth, brand presence, and community engagement.
Qualifications
- 2+ years as Area Manager across 5+ locations
- Strong leadership and coaching ability
- Strategic thinker with a sales focus
- Experienced with stock control and merchandising
- Roster and wage management experience
- Ability to build relationships with offices and partners
- Franchise experience is a plus
- Proactive ‘Make it Happen’ attitude
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient store operations to hit sales targets and KPI goals
- Motivate Store Managers to reach targets across stores
- Monitor store performance daily to monthly, address gaps
- Control wage costs and roster adherence per guidelines
- Coach Store Managers and mentor teams with training plans
- Ensure OH&S compliance and state/national regulations
