Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting seeks an experienced ADAS Test Engineer to lead sign-off on Euro NCAP/ANCAP tests, driving robotic systems on closed tracks and turning test data into reliable results. Relocate to Victoria's coast and join a high-profile programme with major vehicle manufacturers.

You will own tests end-to-end within a focused team, bringing 5–10 years of ADAS lab or OEM/ proving ground experience and hands-on knowledge of AB Dynamics or Humanetics driving robots.

Your Euro NCAP expertise is in short supply. Down under, it's in demand.

Few engineers in Australia have run ADAS testing on driving robots. You have. CMC is assembling a hand-picked team of ADAS Test Engineers for a high-profile active safety testing programme on Victoria's coast, working to Euro NCAP and ANCAP protocols for some of the world's biggest vehicle manufacturers.

What you'll do

• Plan, run and sign off ADAS and active safety tests (AEB, pedestrian and vehicle scenarios) to Euro NCAP / ANCAP protocols
• Drive the testing with robotic driving systems and soft-target platforms on a closed track
• Turn raw test data into clear, reliable results
• Own your tests end to end in a focused specialist team, where your expertise is valued and visible

What you bring

• Hands-on experience with AB Dynamics or Humanetics driving robots (both is a bonus)
• Working knowledge of Euro NCAP protocols (ANCAP is equivalent)
• Time at an ADAS test lab, OEM test department or proving ground
• Soft-target experience (pedestrian / vehicle) and test data processing
• Roughly 5-10 years' experience is our sweet spot, but we'll talk to junior and senior engineers too. Used one system but not both, or come from an OEM rather than a lab? Get in touch. Training is available.
