Smart AVR is expanding its Melbourne team and seeking an experienced ADAS Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join our workshop.

You will diagnose faults, use OEM scan tools, perform servicing and documentation, and collaborate with a skilled team in a modern facility.

A background of 3+ years in diagnostics or a trade-qualified mechanic, strong fault-finding, and a valid driver’s license are essential; we offer above-award pay, training, and a stable full-time role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as Diagnostic Tech or trade-qualified Mechanic.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and electrical systems knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults to manufacturer standards.
• Use OEM scan tools and diagnostic software.
• Complete servicing, repairs, and accurate job documentation.
• Collaborate with technicians and service teams.
