Job summary

ADAS Solutions Australia is seeking an Automotive Technician / Electrician to service Forest Glen, QLD. You will travel to customer sites to inspect and road test vehicles to OEM specifications, using an OEM Scan Tool and aftermarket diagnostic equipment to perform diagnostics, repairs, calibration, coding, programming and component replacement.

Candidate should have a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology, 5+ years' experience with a main dealer or recognised aftermarket

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' industry experience with a Main Dealer or recognised aftermarket background (desirable).
• Ability to inspect and diagnose vehicles to OEM standards.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Class C) with clean driving record and prior experience driving a Long Wheel Based Vehicle.
• HEV and BEV accreditation is highly desirable.
• Focus on high-quality outcomes and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and road test vehicles at customer sites to ensure OEM specifications are met.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, calibration, coding, programming and component replacement.
• Utilise an OEM Scan Tool and other diagnostic equipment and software as part of servicing.
• Travel to customer sites to service vehicles and provide technical support.

What's the role?

The role is an Automotive Technician / Electrician servicing Forest Glen, QLD and is responsible for travelling to customer sites to inspect and road test vehicles to ensure they meet OEM specifications. Using an OEM Scan Tool and aftermarket diagnostic equipment and software, tasks will include diagnostics, repairs, calibration, coding, programming, and component replacement.
