Nine Entertainment Co is seeking an Optimisation Specialist to join the Data Science & AI team in North Sydney. You will build ad inventory optimisation models that maximise yield, bridging mathematical theory with commercial outcomes.

Collaborate with data scientists and platform engineers to deploy production-ready solutions and APIs. The role requires a quantitative degree and 2–3 years of experience in optimisation, with strong Python and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 2–3 years of commercial optimisation experience or a related PhD.
• Strong foundations in mathematical programming (linear, MILP, non-linear) and experience with solvers.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain advanced optimisation models to solve commercial challenges.
• Collaborate with data scientists and platform engineers to build scalable solutions and APIs.
• Clean, transform and validate multi-source data and evaluate model performance.
• Translate mathematical formulations into actionable insights for commercial stakeholders.
