Job summary

The successful candidate will possess a Social Work degree (Bachelor or postgrad) and AASW eligibility, strong clinical expertise, and proven leadership with staff supervision.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work with eligibility for AASW.
• Advanced clinical social work experience in an acute health setting.
• Experience in management and team leadership including supervision of staff and students.
• Experience developing policies, procedures and service improvement initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and high-level clinical social work across acute care services.
• Support the Head of Department in refining NBH social work services.
• Lead quality improvement and accreditation readiness activities.
• Support clinical development of students and junior clinicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care.
