Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District's Liverpool Hospital is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the team on a temporary full-time basis until February 2027. You will work with the multidisciplinary team to support patient journeys in a busy tertiary acute hospital, delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions.

You must hold an OT qualification and AHPRA registration, and be able to communicate clearly with patients, families and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in acute occupational therapy caseloads.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Australian C-Class driver's licence; NSW licencing requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, innovative occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to support patient goals.
• Maintain up-to-date patient information and contribute to continuous improvement.
