Job summary
NSW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for acute aged care at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. You will provide high-quality nursing care to elderly patients, coordinate with medical and allied health teams, and contribute to holistic, person-centred care plans.
The role requires current AHPRA registration, strong communication skills, and at least 1 year of hospital and aged care experience. Permanent full-time/part-time positions available with NSW Health benefits.
Qualifications
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
- Effective interpersonal skills and communication within a multidisciplinary team.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital settings and aged care patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to elderly patients in a hospital setting.
- Manage medications and complex wound care as part of the care plan.
- Supervise Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing; support team roles.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
