Job summary

Ayan Infotech in Sydney is seeking an experienced Active Directory SME for a long-term contract in a hybrid role (2 days in office per week). The position requires hands-on expertise in AD security, vulnerability management, and remediation planning.

You will work with Infrastructure, Security, IAM, Server and Application teams to prioritize risks, develop SOPs, and verify remediation effectiveness. Applicants must have valid unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prioritize AD vulnerabilities identified through security assessment tools.
• Perform root cause analysis and assess the security, operational, and business impact of reported AD vulnerabilities.
• Develop remediation plans and detailed SOPs for addressing AD security weaknesses.
• Lead remediation of vulnerabilities related to Domain Controllers, Group Policies, Privileged Accounts, Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, and AD infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, IAM, Server, and Application teams to coordinate and execute remediation activities.
• Validate remediation effectiveness through testing, rescanning, evidence collection, and compliance reporting.
• Provide technical guidance, governance, and continuous improvement recommendations to strengthen the overall Active Directory security posture.
