Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an experienced Active Directory Engineer to implement, administer, and optimise enterprise identity services. You will work with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and service management teams to deliver secure, highly available AD platforms and hybrid identity solutions.

The role focuses on AD DS, Group Policy, DNS, authentication, certificate services, and secure access, with opportunities to improve automation and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise Active Directory environments (AD DS, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity integration.
• Knowledge of security best practices and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer, secure, and maintain enterprise Active Directory environments, including domains, forests, trusts, replication, domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services.
• Support hybrid identity services and cloud identity initiatives, including Entra ID integration.
• Monitor platform health, performance, security, backup, disaster recovery, and operational resilience of AD and related services.
• Develop PowerShell automation and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure and application teams to remediate identity risks.
