Job summary

St Raphael’s Catholic Primary School in New South Wales seeks an Acting Principal to sustain high standards in teaching and learning while providing visible, faith-filled leadership that prioritises staff wellbeing and a supportive school culture.

The successful candidate will hold postgraduate qualifications in Leadership, Religion, Theology or a related field and meet Accreditation Policy requirements, with Category E or willingness to meet them in the first contract term.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership, Religion, Theology or a relevant educational field.
• Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach and Lead Category E or willingness to meet these requirements in the first contract term.

Responsibilities

• Leads with faith, integrity and a commitment to Catholic mission.
• Builds strong, trusting relationships with staff, students, families and the Parish.
• Drives evidence-based teaching, high expectations and whole-school improvement.
• Develops and mentors others to build leadership capacity across the school.
