Job summary

Liiu Min Pty Ltd is a community housing and homelessness services provider seeking an Acting Manager in Singleton NSW 2330 on a casual basis. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead staff, maintain compliance and drive high-quality support for vulnerable clients while supporting staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in housing and homelessness services, community services, or related social support sectors
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience, or the demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a team effectively
• Strong understanding of the challenges facing homeless and housing-insecure populations, with empathy and commitment to person-centred support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and vulnerable individuals
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and compliance requirements in housing and homelessness services
• Ability to work independently, make sound judgements and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills and proficiency with record-keeping and reporting systems
• Flexibility and resilience in responding to the complex needs of individuals experiencing housing insecurity
• Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one (depending on role requirements)
• A valid driver's licence is desirable

• Supervising and supporting frontline staff to ensure delivery of quality housing and homelessness services
• Managing daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and service delivery coordination
• Maintaining and monitoring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and organisational procedures
• Fostering a positive team environment that promotes collaboration, professional development and staff wellbeing
• Communicating effectively with senior management, external partners and stakeholders regarding operational matters and service updates
• Identifying and addressing operational challenges and implementing practical solutions
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping, reporting and documentation in accordance with organisational standards
• Supporting the planning and delivery of programs and services that meet the needs of service users
• Participating in team meetings, training and continuous improvement initiatives

About the role

We are seeking an Acting Manager to join our team in Singleton NSW 2330 on a casual basis.
