Job summary

Absolute Executive Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract with genuine scope to convert to permanent. You will act as the finance leadership team's technical go-to, handling pre and post acquisition accounting, opening balance sheet adjustments and transformation initiatives, while operating

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Genuine exposure to acquisition or M&A accounting.
• Experience advising clients through transactions.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input across acquisitions, including pre-completion considerations and post-completion accounting, and integrate a newly acquired entity's books.
• Act as a technical sounding board for finance leadership on accounting, tax and treasury matters.
• Support technical calculations tied to executive and ownership structures, including dividend workpapers.
