Job summary
Belgravia Leisure's Somerville Recreation Centre is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist on a part-time basis to deliver evidence-based exercise interventions for diverse populations. You will work with an established member base and contribute to program development within a supportive national AEP team.
The role offers flexible hours with full-time consideration for the right candidate and requires eligibility as an AEP with ESSA.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia.
- Experience across chronic disease, injury and surgical rehabilitation.
- Ability to work with a range of clientele from clinical to healthy populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide exercise interventions and education for clients at risk of chronic conditions or injuries.
- Deliver clinical exercise prescription for clients with chronic or complex conditions.
- Promote health education and wellbeing within the venue and community.
- Develop and promote Exercise Physiology services locally and with the wider Belgravia network.
- Facilitate group rehabilitation classes.
- Coordinate with other medical professionals involved in client rehabilitation.
