Job summary

GWA Group in Mulgrave is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Manager to lead the transactional finance function. You will own the AR/AP cycle, drive process improvements, and guide a team across the business to support cash flow.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will collaborate with Finance, Sales and IT to streamline operations and automate end-to-end processes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience across accounts receivable and accounts payable or broader transactional finance.
• Proven experience leading and developing a team.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable: credit assessment, onboarding, invoicing, collections, dispute resolution, cash allocation.
• Oversee Accounts Payable: supplier onboarding, master data, invoice processing, approvals, payment runs, supplier statement reconciliation.
• Set priorities, monitor team performance, and coach team members while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, IT, Logistics to resolve operational issues and identify process and system improvements.

# **Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Manager*** **Based in Mulgrave with hybrid working arrangement*** **Lead a team across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable*** **Improve, streamline and automate end-to-end finance processes** ## **The role** GWA is looking for an Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Manager to lead our transactional financial function. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the accounts receivable and accounts payable cycle across the Group. You will lead a team and work with stakeholders across the business to resolve issues, improve processes and support cash flow. ## **What you’ll be responsible for** As leader of the function you will oversee:Accounts Receivable* Credit assessment and customer onboarding* Invoicing and collections* Dispute and claims resolution* Cash allocation Accounts Payable* Supplier onboarding and master data* Invoice processing and approval workflows* Payment runs* Supplier statement reconciliation You will set priorities, monitor team performance, coach and develop team members, and maintain productive relationships with customers and suppliers. You will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, IT, Logistics and other business areas to resolve operational issues and identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and systems. ## **What you’ll bring**You will have substantial experience across accounts receivable, accounts payable or a broader transactional finance function, with demonstrated experience leading and developing a team..You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, investigating the cause of issues and working with internal and external stakeholders to reach a resolution.
