Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join a well-established professional services organisation in Perth CBD on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will handle end-to-end AP and support fortnightly payroll, reporting to the Financial Controller, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours, modern offices, and a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar finance position.
• Strong Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Previous payroll processing experience highly regarded.
• Experience within professional services is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Accounts Payable processing within a high-volume environment.
• Invoice processing, coding and supplier reconciliations.
• Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong internal relationships.
• Processing supplier payments and credit card transactions.
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and general finance administration.
• Supporting the wider finance team with billing and month-end requirements.
• Fortnightly payroll processing and associated administration.
• Processing timesheets, deductions and superannuation.
• Responding to payroll-related queries.
• Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required.
