Job summary

SunPork Group is one of Australia’s leading pork production businesses, proudly Australian owned and employing people across farming, production, feed milling and corporate operations. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at Eagle Farm Head Office.

You will process a high volume of supplier invoices, match invoices to POs, and help ensure timely payments while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Good Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP/accounting system would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Managing supplier queries and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations.
• Preparing and assisting with payment runs.
• Maintaining accurate supplier and accounts payable records.
• Supporting month-end processes as required.
• Working closely with internal departments to resolve outstanding accounts.
• Assisting the Finance team with general accounts and administrative duties.

We are passionate about our people, our animals and producing quality Australian pork. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at our Eagle Farm Head Office.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in accuracy and loves being part of a supportive team.

Working closely with the broader Finance team, you will help ensure supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time while building positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

You will ideally bring:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Good Microsoft Excel and Office skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP/accounting system would be highly regarded
