Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance Team in Adelaide. You will deliver accurate AP support, maintain supplier records, and help ensure timely payments while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

The role requires 2–5 years’ AP experience, GST knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software. You will contribute to month-end processes and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration.
• Knowledge of Goods & Services Tax (GST) requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.

Next Gen’s Finance Team is centrally located in Adelaide and we are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business and ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function.

About the Role

This hands-on role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounts payable support across the business while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Processing invoices, payments and expense claims
• Managing supplier queries and maintaining the AP inbox
• Performing invoice coding and allocations in line with company policies
• Preparing weekly and ad hoc supplier payments
• Maintaining supplier records, databases and banking information
• Assisting with reconciliations including supplier statements and AP ledgers
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
• Ensuring compliance with GST requirements and internal financial controls
• Providing administrative and operational support to the Finance Team as required
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function

About You

The successful applicant will:

• Have previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role
• Possess sound knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles
• Have an understanding of Goods & Services Tax (GST) requirements
• Be highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Have experience using accounting software or ERP systems
• Be able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Display a positive attitude and strong team-oriented approach
• Be adaptable, dependable and willing to take a hands-on approach

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field is desirable
• 2-5 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role preferred
