About the Role

We\'re looking for an Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team at Squadron Energy, reporting to the Finance Manager - Transactional Services. Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, customer receipts, and staff reimbursements.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure correct coding to cost centres.
• Prepare supplier payments and staff reimbursements, including general ledger posting and online banking.
• Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards.
• Assist with month-end processes and financial reporting.
• Verify and process employee expense claims.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement in accounts payable.

What You'll Bring

• 1-2 years\' experience in an accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and basic accounting principles.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Intermediate skills in Excel and accounting software.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce (desirable).
