Job summary

Bentleys SA is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the Business Services and Advisory team in Adelaide, Australia. You will oversee client engagements, mentor staff and deliver high-quality advice across a diverse portfolio, with a clear path to Manager and leadership opportunities.

Working with Managers and Partners, you will review financial statements, tax returns and compliance work, coordinate workflow, and actively contribute to business development while supporting a high-performing

Qualifications

• CA qualified (or nearing completion) with strong commitment to professional excellence
• Minimum 4-6 years' experience in Australian public practice
• Demonstrated experience reviewing work and mentoring team members
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and business advisory services
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
• Motivated to progress toward Manager and leadership responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and build strong, trusted relationships
• Review financial statements, income tax returns and compliance work across complex structures
• Coordinate workflow, deadlines and resource allocation across engagements
• Supervise, coach and develop accountants and senior accountants
• Review work completed by team members and provide technical guidance
• Support Managers and Partners in business development and client retention initiatives
• Identify risks, opportunities and value-added advisory outcomes for clients
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice processes
