Job summary

Venues NSW is seeking a meticulous Assistant Accountant to join our Moore Park head office, with responsibilities across our NSW stadium network. You will support the Financial Controller in financial and management accounting, budgeting and reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary accounting qualification, have strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and excellent communication to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• The role requires a formal accounting qualification and sound knowledge of accounting processes.
• A detail-oriented approach with accuracy and strong organisational skills.
• Experience with reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with stakeholder communication.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Venues NSW currently has a role available for a passionate and professional Assistant Accountant. This role will support the Financial Controller across financial and management accounting, budgeting and reporting.

This role is based at our head office, located inside Allianz Stadium at Moore Park, but will work across our network of stadiums and venues in NSW.
