Job summary

Venues NSW is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Controller across financial and management accounting, budgeting and reporting. This role is based at our head office inside Allianz Stadium, Moore Park, with responsibilities across the NSW stadium network.

The ideal candidate will have a formal tertiary accounting qualification, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to manage reconciliations, AP/AR, and timely financial information while

• Ability to assist budgeting and forecasting with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller with monthly reporting.
• Assist with reconciliations, AP/AR and cash flow as required.

Venues NSW currently has a role available for a passionate and professional Assistant Accountant. This role will support the Financial Controller across financial and management accounting, budgeting and reporting.

This role is based at our head office, located inside Allianz Stadium at Moore Park, but will work across our network of stadiums and venues in NSW.

• Have an understanding of financial accounting processes, including reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.

• Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and compliance.
