Overview

Artisan Group are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team on a casual/part-time basis (approx. 15-20 hours per week). This role requires strong knowledge of accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing financial records.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, across multiple entities
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparation and lodgment of BAS, IAS and payroll obligations (including multi-state payroll tax, STP and workers’ compensation requirements)
  • Completion of month-end reporting
  • Maintain accurate records in MYOB and Excel spreadsheets for multiple entities as required
  • Liaise with external accountants and stakeholders as required
About You
  • Minimum 5 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Proficient in MYOB AccountRight
  • Extensive understanding of GST, payroll, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive background in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance
