A leading carbon project developer in Sydney is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial accounts and reporting. You will manage financial transactions, ensure compliance, and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero and possess strong collaboration and communication skills. This role offers a competitive salary package and a flexible work environment.

As Accountant, you will help oversee the management of Corporate Carbon’s financial accounts and reporting across multiple entities. This role will see you:

Deliver results - Completes work to the agreed standard and timeframes, identifies resources or support required, and takes responsibility for delivering on required outcomes, reports on progress.
Solve problems and make decisions - Identifies potential challenges and issues. Seeks out information and input from others to complete work or solve problems, suggests improvements and makes recommendations, seeks to understand decision making authority.
Technology, systems, and processes - Appreciates the need for systems and processes and suggests improvements. Embraces new technology.
Regulation, compliance and risk - Applies regulatory and compliance requirements to day-to-day work.
Client service - Creates a culture where client service is central and where strategy, systems, and processes enable quality and efficient delivery.
Minimum of three years' experience in an accounts or similar role.
Demonstrated experience in financial and budgetary processes and systems.
Advanced level experience using Xero.
Advanced level Ms Office 365 applications including MS excel.
Tertiary qualifications in Finance
