Job summary

Findex in Stawell is seeking an Accountant who delivers high-quality accounting services across a diverse client base, helping clients grow and succeed.

You will assist in preparing business advice, tax returns, BAS and financial statements for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals, while meeting deadlines and budgets.

Join a team with strong development opportunities, CA/CPA study support, mentoring, flexible schedules, and exposure to services from virtual CFO to forecasting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in public practice.
• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it (preferred but not essential).
• Curious, analytical mindset with a drive to understand clients’ businesses.

What you bring to the role:

• 2+ years in public practice
• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it (preferred but not essential)
• Curious, analytical mindset with a drive to understand clients’ businesses
• Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, or other cloud tools
• Enthusiastic team player who actively contributes to success
• Sharp attention to detail and excellent prioritisation skills
