Our client has laid a foothold on the Manufacturing Industry by leading with quality manufactured composite panels, timber and aluminum products that are used in a variety of manufacturing solutions.

Take the next step in your career by leading the accounting function within a business that keeps up with the times and advances their products to suit market demands. As the Accountant, you will be hands on and guide the business owners on productive and viable accounting processes.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Create finance related policies and procedures
  • Provide monthly financial accounting reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Assist with the analytical review of month end results for discussion with internal stakeholders
  • Assist with developing and managing budgets and forecasts
  • Maintain the day-to-day financial activities including general ledger, asset register, taxation compliance and statutory reporting
  • Develop and maintain inventory controls
  • Monitor the progress of projects including variance analysis and commentary
  • Contribute to monthly/end of year processes and production of monthly/ annual financial statements
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements

Candidates with previous experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

  • Xero/MYOB
  • 3 - 5 years previous experience in an Accounting/Finance related role
  • Bachelor of Accounting (or equivalent)
  • CPA
