Job summary

IAIP partners with a well-established professional services firm to recruit an Accountant or Senior Accountant. You will join a collaborative team, serve a diverse client base, and grow technical expertise through accounting, taxation and advisory work.

You will prepare financial statements and tax returns, BAS and related compliance, manage client relationships and support junior staff, while pursuing CA/CPA qualifications where possible.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years accounting experience in a professional practice
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting principles
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of entities
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Progress towards or completion of CA or CPA qualifications will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
• Preparation of BAS and related compliance requirements
• Managing client relationships and responding to client inquiries

Your new role
