Ashurst Perkins Coie Group in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Accountant for a 12-month fixed term contract. You will be a crucial member of the Australian accounting team and will drive financial service delivery and take responsibility for a range of financial accounting outputs.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance, progress toward CA/CPA, and 3+ years in a similar environment with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a similar role ideally in a professional or financial services environment.
• Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance and working towards/already obtained CA/CPA qualification.
• Analytical and highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Brisbane on a 12month fixed term contract. You will be a crucial member of the Australian accounting team and will drive financial service delivery and take responsibility for a range of financial accounting outputs.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

• 3+ years experience in a similar role ideally working in a professional or financial services environment
• Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance and working towards/already obtained CA/CPA qualification
• Analytical and highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Able to operate autonomously and exercise judgement at an appropriate level with a consultative approach
• Good tech skills including intermediate level excel
