An exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Account Manager to join a leading, Australian-based IT Managed Services Provider.

We are looking to add an experienced Client Account Manager to support our growth, based in our Townsville, QLD office location.

About the role:

As a Client Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth, while also driving new client acquisition for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a defined portfolio of clients and target industries to drive new customer acquisition.
  • Maintaining existing revenue while growing incremental sales with current customers (upsell, cross-sell, whitespace).
  • Ensuring a consistently high level of customer service, aligned with RMT’s standards, including achievement of agreed Client Satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) outcomes.
  • Preparing clear and compelling sales quotes and proposals.
  • Building and managing a sales pipeline at appropriate levels.
  • Representing RMT at industry and partner events as required
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of RMT’s managed services, cloud, and cyber security offerings.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of RMT's partnerships, namely Telstra and Microsoft.
  • Developing account and sales plans for key prospects and existing clients.
  • Working effectively with technical, project, and service teams to deliver positive customer outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely CRM hygiene in ConnectWise Manage.

About you:

3+ years’ experience in sales and/or account management.

Experience within the MSP or technology sector.

Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship building skills.

Ability to build relationships with executives and decision-makers.
