Overview

Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Sydney. The territory covers a portfolio of State Government customers across NSW, working on projects involving AI, data, analytics, cloud and IT modernization. AWS fosters innovation and customer obsession, and we continually reinvent the future of cloud computing.

Responsibilities
  • Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
  • Utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes
  • Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
  • Challenge outdated approaches to IT
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions to customers
  • Analyze sales metrics/data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
  • Build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy
  • Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
  • Develop long-term strategic C-level relationships with key accounts
