Job summary

Urja & Stretching Goats JV is seeking an Account Director to lead senior client relationships, translate consumer insight into sharp briefs, and steer strategy with confidence.

You’ll mentor Account Managers, defend ideas in the boardroom and war room, and drive creative work that delivers measurable business impact.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity and client growth, requiring calm under pressure and a proven track record in agency settings.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years in client servicing at a creative, digital or brand agency.
• Strategic mindset grounded in consumer insight and brand thinking.
• A genuine passion for the creative product — you can see great ideas and sell them with soul.
• Experience managing mid-to-large teams with energy, empathy and edge.
• Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
• Entrepreneurial ownership and the will to do what’s right for the brand, the business and the work.

Responsibilities

• Be the strategic anchor across key accounts — with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, category dynamics, and brand ambition.
• Own client relationships with maturity, empathy and commercial smarts.
• Sell brave work by building trust and connecting creative to business results.
• Lead and mentor Account Managers and Executives, helping them grow into leaders.
• Spot growth opportunities, pitch new ideas, and keep the revenue flywheel spinning.
• Be the glue between strategy, creative and execution — making sure great ideas don’t die on the conference call.
• Build respect across departments — with your clarity, conviction and cool.
