Job summary

Opposite Lock Cardiff is seeking a skilled Accessory Fitter / Light Vehicle Mechanic to join their Cardiff, NSW workshop. The role focuses on servicing, diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles with an emphasis on 4WDs and light commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accessory Fitter or Light Vehicle Mechanic with relevant trade background required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities essential for servicing and repairs.
• Experience with 4WDs, diesel vehicles and suspension/modifications is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering and driveline repairs.
• Carry out suspension upgrades and other 4WD modifications.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
• Work on a range of 4WDs, utes and light commercial vehicles.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
