• Conduct pre-delivery accessory checks.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to meet delivery timelines.
• Assist with basic mechanical workshop tasks.

About the Role

BYD Essendon are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accessories Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting a wide range of automotive accessories to new and used vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and a great customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install accessories such as tow bars, canopies, bull bars, roof racks, and more
• Conduct pre-delivery accessory checks and ensure correct specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Work closely with service and sales teams to meet delivery deadlines
• Provide support with basic mechanical and workshop tasks as required

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a similar role or strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Sound understanding of hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Current manual driver's licence
