Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Accessibility Experience (AX) Lead to champion accessibility across a large-scale digital environment. You will lead strategic and hands-on efforts, guiding design systems and platforms to improve usable experiences for all Australians.

The role combines senior leadership with practical delivery across products, collaborating with product, design, architecture and technology teams. Hybrid work, 12-month contract with extension, ACT/NSW/VIC/QLD locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading accessibility or inclusive design initiatives within complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, assistive technologies and inclusive design principles.
• Experience conducting accessibility audits, testing, remediation and validation activities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, developers and product professionals.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience developing organisational capability through coaching, mentoring and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead accessibility and inclusive design practices across digital products and services.
• Champion accessibility requirements throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain accessibility standards, frameworks and testing approaches.
• Provide expert advice to designers, developers, architects and product teams.
• Influence and improve user interfaces, reusable components and design systems.
• Contribute to accessibility enhancements within component libraries and digital platforms.
• Develop and lead accessibility testing programs involving people with disability and assistive technology users.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in accessibility capability and delivery outcomes.
• Coach and mentor teams to build accessibility awareness and capability across the organisation.
