Job summary

RACV Finance in Melbourne is seeking a Loan Acceptance Officer to join us on a full-time basis and deliver exceptional service in our loan funding process, while operating within delegated lending authority.

You will efficiently process, assess and decide loan applications, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with NCCPA, RACV Finance policies, AML/CTF and APPP obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ consumer and commercial assessment and acceptance experience.
• Ability to operate autonomously with lending authority.
• Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process, assess and decide loan applications within delegated lending authority.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in the process.
• Ensure compliance with NCCPA, RACV Finance Policy, AML/CTF and APPP.

An exciting opportunity exists for a loan Acceptance Officer to join us on a full time basis and compliantly deliver exceptional service in our funding of loans.

A day in the life

As an Acceptance Officer you will efficiently process, assess and decision loan applications within your Delegated Lending Authority, whilst communicating with internal and external stakeholders in doing so.

Everything you do will be compliant with our Licencing obligations NCCPA, RACV Finance Policy and all Governing Legislation including, AML/CTF and APPP

What you'll bring

• Mandatory minimum3 years’ Consumer and Commercial Assessment and Acceptance experience, including a thorough knowledge of diligence and assessment
• Proven ability to Autonomously operate with your own Lending Authority
• A balanced and natural decision-making ability
• Adept at conflict resolution, able to think laterally with negotiation skills
• Very strong attention detail
• Self-motivated and punctual
• Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently
• Always curious and challenging to find better ways
