Job summary

The University of Melbourne in Parkville is seeking an Academic Programs Coordinator (Wellbeing) to support Melbourne Law School students with wellbeing and academic adjustments.

You will coordinate exams, extensions and health promotion activities, working with academics and university services to improve student outcomes. A tertiary qualification and strong administration skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification complemented by experience in student support and academic administration.
  • Provide informed advice on academic adjustments and outcomes within policy frameworks.
  • Interpret and apply university policies with accuracy and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential consultations to students on adjustments and referrals to support services.
  • Liaise with University Services, lecturers and ASO colleagues to implement equitable arrangements.
  • Coordinate exams, extensions, timetables and assessment-related enquiries.
  • Lead development and improvement of Teaching and Learning web content on wellbeing and resources.
  • Plan and support wellbeing events, including Orientation and Wellness Week.
