Job summary

Institute of Applied Psychology – North Sydney NSW seeks an Academic Director (Project) to lead the full development of the Bachelor of Applied Counselling and Therapy. You will oversee 24 subjects, ensure accreditation readiness, and manage a team of contracted SMEs to deliver high-quality course materials on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Finalize course structure, CLOs, 24-subject sequence, prerequisites and practicum subjects.
• Map CLOs to AQF7 descriptors and relevant standards (PACFA/ACA).
• Design the assessment framework, volumes, moderation, and capstone assessment model.
• Define credit, articulation and RPL for CHC51015 Diploma entrants.
• Own production of all 24 subjects to a common template and quality gates.
• Lead SME recruitment, briefs, timelines and performance management.
