What’s on offer?
  • Support all commitments within Fulton Hogan’s Reconciliation Action Plan
  • Collaborate with our national team and drive national initiatives throughout the region
  • Develop and manage an overall regional strategy for Aboriginal Participation
  • Support and deliver Aboriginal Participation Plans and Performance Requirements for all contracts in the region
  • Meet, liaise and support Aboriginal businesses to encourage them to join Fulton Hogan’s panel of preferred suppliers/subcontractors
  • Assist Aboriginal businesses to join the Aboriginal Business Directory Western Australia
  • Deliver Our Community / Our Culture toolbox talks within the region
  • Support Aboriginal job seekers with applications and oversee the recruitment and selection process
  • Mentoring and supporting our Aboriginal employees

This role is an Indigenous identified position and advertised as per Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.

How you’ll connect to the role?
  • A commitment to working safely
  • Strong Work Ethic, Reliability and Attitude, Passion and Energy for your work is a must
  • A strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture and previous experience in liaising with Aboriginal Persons or Businesses
  • Knowledge and understanding of Employment Services and VTECs
  • Strong relationships within Aboriginal Communities and critical stakeholders
  • Experience in adult knowledge transfer
  • Flexibility to work away from home with frequent travel required
