Job summary

Centrecare is seeking an Aboriginal Mental Health Worker to support children, young people and families within CAFS in Northbridge, WA. The role includes visits to Banksia Hill Detention Centre and requires a WWCC and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status.

You will provide social, emotional and cultural support through a case management approach, working with a multidisciplinary team and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status is required.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide social, emotional and cultural support to children, young people and families.
• Deliver case management within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of services provided.
• Occasionally visit Banksia Hill Detention Centre as part of client support.
