Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services at Yulara Clinic and to back up the Transport Officer as needed. This Aboriginal-identified casual role supports a community-led health service in the region.

Applicants must be of Aboriginal descent and able to meet infection-control expectations. A current NT Driver's Licence and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal descent and acceptance by the Aboriginal community.
• Practical experience and/or knowledge in cleaning procedures.
• Understanding of infection control standards or willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and materials used.
• Ability to work any shift, including some weekends.
• Current NT Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning services at Yulara Clinic.
• Back-up support to the Transport Officer as required.
