  • Undertake Aboriginal heritage, assessments and analysis, and contribute to heritage management planning, by delivering accurate, high-quality advice and documentation that supports project planning, approvals and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cultural heritage activities, cultural values mapping and field engagement activities, managing logistics, documentation and field preparation to ensure safety, quality and project commitments are effectively managed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Traditional Owners, Aboriginal Corporations, consultants and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and positive engagement outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience in Aboriginal cultural heritage management and/or Native Title within infrastructure, construction or major project environments, with a sound understanding of relevant Western Australian Aboriginal legislation and protocols.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise and high-quality documentation while confidently engaging, influencing and building credibility with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, navigate complex issues, influence outcomes and maintain productive relationships across a broad stakeholder landscape.
  • A strategic, proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to exercise sound judgement, manage competing priorities, work autonomously and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Resilience, confidence and adaptability, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure, navigate ambiguity and balance competing demands. Regular travel is an inherent requirement of this role, and applicants must hold a current WA Class C Driver's Licence.
