Job summary

TAFE NSW External is seeking an Education Support Officer for Childhood Education and Care on the Wonnarua Country Kurri Kurri TAFE Campus. The role is temporary full-time until June 2027, supporting the Aboriginal ECEC Workforce Supported Pathways Program and assisting students to complete CHC30125 within 12 months.

You will work with Teachers to provide practical, culturally responsive support, assist learners on campus and online, and may travel locally to placements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher and 3+ years as an educator in a regulated ECEC service.
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills with initiative.
• Ability to support learning in adult settings both face-to-face and online and motivate learners.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and provide quality customer service.
• ICT skills including Word, Excel, and online meeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, culturally responsive support to students.
• Support learners one-on-one and in small groups across face-to-face and online environments.
• Travel locally to support students on placement when needed.
• Collaborate with Teachers to support delivery of the Aboriginal ECEC pathways program.
