Job summary

Safe Wayz seeks a Clinician/Senior Clinician to deliver culturally grounded, trauma-informed support for Aboriginal children and families in NSW. The role offers a development pathway across classifications, with supervision, mentoring and funded training to progress within the Aboriginal Development Pathway.

The position emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, community engagement, and flexible hours with on-call duties, in a supportive team dedicated to cultural safety and safety planning.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling.
• Graduate Certificate in ECAV pathway or equivalent in Interpersonal Trauma.
• Ability to work with Aboriginal communities and families with cultural expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver early support, counselling and safety planning for children under 10 with PHSBs.
• Coordinate prevention and early-intervention with Aboriginal communities.
• Conduct holistic psychosocial assessments including cultural needs and family strengths.
• Collaborate with Safe Wayz, SAS, CPCS, JCPRP and CAMHS teams for integrated responses.
• Engage in clinical and cultural supervision and statewide networks.
