Job summary

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is recruiting for a Social Worker within the Safer Family Services team in Noarlunga Centre, SA. Role is a short-term contract with a salary range of $94,997–$110,052 (AHP2).

The incumbent will engage with families, deliver services to promote child safety and wellbeing, and may require travel and after-hours work. Applicants must meet essential qualifications and pass all screening checks, including NPC and WWCC.

Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications: Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent.
• Eligibility for full membership/registration with relevant Association/Board.

Responsibilities

• Some out of hours work may be required.
• Inter and intra-state travel may be required.
• National Police Check required prior to employment.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) required prior to employment.
• RRHAN-EC training or updated course may be required.
• Driver’s licence (Class C SA) held and maintained; willing to drive government vehicles.
