Victorian Government - Department of Families, Fairness and Housing in Melbourne is seeking a Child Protection Practice Leader to guide the transition of Aboriginal children to Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), expanding either their case contracting or Aboriginal Children in Aboriginal Care programs.

You will provide expert assessment, collaborate with ACCOs and the broader Child Protection program, and oversee transfer readiness across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to ACCCOs to expand their case contracting programs or Aboriginal Children in Aboriginal Care programs.
• Collaborate with ACCOs and the broader Child Protection program to identify and prepare children for transfer to ACCOs.
• Engage across Areas/Divisions to undertake case management tasks supporting transfers to ACCOs.
