Job summary

TMA Group in Truganina, VIC is seeking an ABG Digicon Machine Operator to join our finishing team. You will set up and operate ABG Digicon Series 3 digital finishing equipment to produce high-quality label and packaging products in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have 1–3 years' experience with ABG Digicon Series 3 or similar equipment, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience operating ABG Digicon Series 3 or similar digital finishing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of digital finishing processes and machine setup.
• Confidence troubleshooting minor press and production issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality focus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate ABG Digicon presses.
• Laminating, foiling, varnishing, die cutting and embossing.
• Complete quality checks and adjust machine settings.
• Carry out routine maintenance, wash ups and basic troubleshooting.
• Complete job tickets, production records and quality documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.

We are looking for an experienced ABG Digicon Machine Operator to join our finishing team at our Truganina facility.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating ABG Digicon Series 3 digital finishing equipment, producing high quality label and packaging products in a fast paced production environment.

Your day will include:

• Setting up and operating ABG Digicon presses
• Laminating, foiling, varnishing, die cutting and embossing
• Completing quality checks and adjusting machine settings where required
• Carrying out routine maintenance, wash ups and basic troubleshooting
• Completing job tickets, production records and quality documentation
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area

What We’re Looking For

You’ll must have:

• 1 to 3 years’ experience operating ABG Digicon Series 3 or similar digital finishing equipment
• Strong knowledge of digital finishing processes and machine setup
• Confidence troubleshooting minor press and production issues
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality focus
• Ability to work safely in a hands on manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills and a team focused attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 25kg
