AO5 Senior Accommodation Planner - Commercial Office Fit-Outs

  • $68.22 per hour + super
  • Full-time | ASAP Start | Contract until 31 Jan 2026 (Highly likely rolling extension)
About the Role

In this role, you'll lead and manage medium to major office accommodation projects, contributing to strategic planning and policy development. Reporting to the Principal Accommodation Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing medium to major office accommodation projects. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and government stakeholders to deliver fit-out and relocation projects, while also supporting the development of best practice guidelines and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage office accommodation and fit-out projects
  • Provide expert input into government-wide office accommodation strategies
  • Prepare reports, briefing notes, and submissions for senior executives
  • Represent the team at internal and external forums
  • Supervise reporting systems and contribute to policy development
What We're Looking For
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to interpret architectural and services plans
  • Proven experience in office accommodation planning or commercial fit-out projects
  • Strong project management skills with ability to meet cost and time constraints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Highly Desirable
  • Experience in office interior design and fit-out project management
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to office buildings and space planning
  • Previous government experience is highly regarded
