Job summary

DCP Electrical & Automation is seeking an A Grade Electrician to join our small yet growing team in Healesville, VIC. Newly qualified electricians and motivated fourth-year apprentices are encouraged to apply.

We work on wineries, high-end homes and architectural projects across the Yarra Valley, with most jobs within 20 minutes of Healesville. You will undertake residential rough-ins, switchboard work, fault finding and data installations, while guiding apprentices and liaising with builders

Qualifications

• A Grade electrician with residential focus and ability to work with builders.
• Willing to mentor fourth-year apprentices.
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out residential rough-ins, fit-offs, switchboard work, fault finding, data installations.
• Organise materials and help keep jobs moving.
• Liaise with builders, customers and other trades.
• Guide apprentices with clear instructions.
• Test and check work, leave a clean site and assist customers.
• Maintain job notes and time entries in Fergus.
