Job summary

SamePage Personnel presents an opportunity for an experienced A Grade Electrician to move into Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls. The role focuses on field installation, commissioning, and client liaison in commercial buildings across Victoria, with training provided and no call-outs.

You will report to the Service Manager and progress toward programming roles. Ideal candidates hold a Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence, have electrical/HVAC experience, strong computer and

Qualifications

• A current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence (essential).
• Experience in electrical, HVAC, automation or a related field.
• Strong computer and networking skills.
• Good communication skills since this role faces clients.
• An Open Cabling licence and some HVAC or controls knowledge (highly regarded).
• A driver's licence and Australian work rights, plus willingness to do Working with Children and police checks.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning new BMS systems in HVAC plant rooms.
• Controller changeovers and system upgrades.
• Building and installing control panels.
• Point-to-point checks, functional testing and witness testing.
• Learning BMS programming, graphics and integration with senior engineers.
• Dealing directly with clients and facility managers.
