The Midfield Group in Warrnambool, VIC is seeking a reliable A-Double Tipper Driver for our transport team. You will operate modern A-Double tipper configurations delivering bulk grain and related commodities, in a shared truck arrangement.

Based in Mt Gambier or the Southeast SA region, you will work rotating AM and PM shifts, maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete required paperwork, with a strong focus on safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Valid MC Licence (Multi-Combination) required.
• Proven experience operating A-Double tipper combinations.
• BFM accreditation advantageous or willingness to obtain.
• Clean driving record; recent history may be requested.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Ability to operate autonomously and follow instructions.
• Willingness to care for and maintain near-new equipment.
• Grain loading/unloading experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate A-Double tipper combinations in NHVR-compliant way.
• Load, transport, and unload grain and bulk commodities.
• Rotate between AM and PM shifts.
• Maintain a clean, roadworthy company vehicle.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced A-Double Tipper Driver to join our transport team based in Mt Gambier or the Southeast South Australia region. The successful candidate will operate modern, well-maintained equipment in a shared truck arrangement, working rotating AM and PM shifts.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of bulk grain and related commodities using A-Double tipper combinations, ensuring compliance with all safety and road regulations, while maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and condition.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate A-Double tipper combinations in compliance with NHVR regulations and company safety policies
• Load, transport, and unload grain and similar bulk commodities as required
• Rotate between AM and PM shifts as scheduled
• Share and maintain company vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition
• Accurately complete and submit required paperwork and logbooks (including BFM if applicable)
• Conduct pre-start checks and report defects immediately
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
• Adhere to fatigue management and safety procedures
• Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of attention to detail and professionalism

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

• Valid MC Licence (Multi-Combination) - Required
• Proven experience operating A-Double tipper combinations - Essential
• BFM accreditation - Advantageous (or willingness to obtain, company can assist)
• Clean driving record - recent traffic history may be requested
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in conduct
• Willingness to care for and maintain near-new equipment in pristine condition
• Ability to work autonomously and follow instructions
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Grain loading/unloading experience highly regarded
